Super 8 Motel - Kenmore/Buffalo/Niagara Falls Area

Not what I expected for a Super 8 hotel.

Extremal bad hotel, I will never ever go in this hotel.

It was ok for what was it worth, it was close to buffalo state college which is why i stayed there.

We called ahead and aked for 1st floor rooms because my Mom is handicapped. We were told we could do that when we checked in. When we got the we got 2 rooms on the first floor but at the very end of the hall. There were also 4 stairs that she was not able to do easily. It was too much walking from th lobby to our rooms. We purchased soda from the 1 beverage machine. My sister took one drink from the soda and nearly got sick. The date on the bottom of the can was 2006. We took it to the front desk and he said it must have been a mis print. He refunded our money but come on !!!!! And the continental breakfast consisted of tiny bagels,lemon muffins and cranberry muffins. Warm apple juice. Fruit loops and cornflakes cereal. The staff was very friendly except for the day clerk Jim. He was not friendly at all. When I asked him for a trash bag he rolled his eyes as if I was asking him for money! Yet I seen and heard him speaking to someone who seemed to be in charge of a group on business and he was friendly as could be. We spent 5 nights in this hotel and spent our hard earned money....guess it wasn't as good as a business groups money. ...read more

For a quick trip and saving money it might do.

I could hear the neighbors in adjoining rooms talking, on the phone, coughing and TV's.

The stay was miserable because of the hotel staff's inability to treat us with respect. I watched the front desk attendant smile and wish the family ahead of us a nice stay. Then when it was out turn she greeted me with us with What is it guys? Anytime we asked the front desk attendant for assistance for a bus/ taxi information since we were out of towner's, she rudely said. I know nothing about buses, stand on the corner and wait like everybody else. My guest and I are 22yrs old, but either way we paid just as much as anyone else who stayed there. Staffs were not friendly. Prices were ok. Room is fine but I was asked to not walking in my own room at 9.30 pm. Coz somebody on lower level need to sleep?
